Just a little update

It’s been some time since either myself or Ashley has posted anything. Whoops 😛

As I’m sure you know, life can get pretty hectic with school and other activities. Anyways, I just wanted to provide a small update. I plan on picking up the blog activities once again on this blog and my personal one (if I can set aside time for it haha). I’m aiming for my personal blog to be an amalgamation of posts related to dramas, anime, manga, and novels (web novels or light novels). If you’re interested, you can find it here.

Over the last few months, I’ve gotten interested in web/light novels of the Chinese and Japanese variety. There are quite a few really good ones out there, so check it out if you are running low on manga or just interesting reads in general. I’ve been interested in contributing to the novel translation community, so I’ve recently picked up editing. I’m still learning the ropes, but I hope to improve. If you are interested in the novels I’m currently editing, please check out General Above, I am Below and The Fierce Illegitimate Miss. They are hosted by oddgeorge and xiaoxiao novels respectively. As I get more confident, I’ll probably pick up a few more projects. If you are in need of an editor feel free to leave a comment here or use the contact form. I’m always looking for interesting projects.

If you are interested, you can find me around on the Novel Updates Forum. Feel free to leave a comment on my page or friend/follow me.

As always thanks for your support!

Blade & Soul (Game)

2014 Anime

In April of 2014, Blade & Soul, an anime based on a Korean MMORPG was released. It was a mediocre anime, but I will admit that the plot itself was interesting.

Personally, I liked the anime. However, that’s probably because I am a sucker for martial arts, fantasy and action. When I first watched the anime, I had no idea it was based on a game. Once I found, I got super excited. At the time, I did my fair share of gaming especially since I had gotten bored of Perfect World and a few other MMORPGs. Unfortunately, the US/English version was still being worked on and was unavailable at the time. Over time I forgot about the anime and the game. However, in the past few days, I discovered the US version of Blade & Soul has been released!

Blog Update! 2/1/2016

Hey guys! (Brace yourself, this post might be long.)

As you can tell, there have been a lack of posts for the last 6-8 months. For that, I apologize. During that time, Ashley and I were caught up with college, work and other personal things. It was difficult for us to find a balance and enough time to put out quality posts for the blog.

Currently, Ashley is studying abroad and so she may not be able to do any posts until May. I am also working of applications for various things, daily college work and finding balance in my life. However, I’ve been working hard on trying to find time to write posts and content to write about.

Despite that, I still want to continue this blog. For me, blogging about anime and manga (and the likes) is super fun. I hope to post at least once a month (or more depending on my schedule). For right now, it seems that the future posts will lean more toward manga/manhua/manhwa since I haven’t really had time to partake in anime. However, I will review some anime if they catch my interest.

Anyways, I wanted to thank all our followers and anyone else who is reading this. I hope that you will stay tuned for the posts I have planned.

Wow, it has been a while since Ashley or I have done a post. I know for me my life has calmed down a bit and I am slowly finding time to do blog posts again. I will be having posts on some new series I have found and some more reviews in the works. I also want to try doing some other things as well, but we will see if it works out.

I am definitely super excited to be back and hope that the new content will be posted in the near future! Thanks again for sticking with us!

Rapid Review: Nodame Cantabile

Nodame Cantabile (2007): Beautiful music. Interesting plot. Hilarious characters. Simple.

Nodame Cantabile is an older anime that has two sequel anime seasons. It’s a great casual anime to watch even if you don’t have a background in music. The plot is simple with no complicated subplots. The characters are silly and can take some time to get used to but  they are cute and hilarious, When I watched this anime I didn’t really know what to expect and I wasn’t disappointed by the lack of a suspenseful plot or dramatic romance. The only downside was that it was a bit boring at times, but the characters make it worthwhile to watch.

Blog Update: Where are the New Posts?!

Hey guys. As you have probably noticed there havent been a significant drop in the amount of posts. This is due to me working my summer job and prepping for the upcomming semester. I will try to do posts on the weekend when I can and hopefully get back to posting a little more than I currently am. Ashley is still writing for the blog, but she is also prepping for school.

We apologize for the late update and lack of content. We hope to get back to posting soon!
